ROLE DESCRIPTION:
As a Customer Relations Representative with Nickey State Farm, we are seeking a motivated and creative Marketing & Public Relations Coordinator to lead our agency's community involvement, public relations, and local event initiatives. This individual will play a key role in building brand awareness, developing relationships with local businesses and organizations, and generating qualified leads through community engagement and partnership development.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Plan, organize, and execute community events, sponsorships, and public outreach activities that promote the agency's brand and services.
- Represent the agency at local networking events, fairs, and charitable functions to build visibility and goodwill.
- Identify community partnerships and co-marketing opportunities with schools, nonprofits, and local businesses.
- Coordinate all event logistics, including budgeting, setup, materials, and promotional follow-up.
- Develop and manage social media content calendars and local marketing campaigns that highlight community involvement and agency achievements.
- Assist with creating promotional materials, including flyers, banners, and digital content for events and campaigns.
- Design and implement local marketing strategies aimed at attracting auto, home, and life insurance prospects.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with referral partners such as real estate agents, mortgage lenders, auto dealerships, and other local professionals.
- Support agency sales goals through effective community-driven marketing initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong communication, networking, and relationship-building skills.
- Creative thinker with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Comfortable speaking at community events and representing the agency in public.
- Proficiency with social media platforms, basic graphic design tools and CRM systems.
- Self-motivated, outgoing, and passionate about helping people and connecting with the community.
- Although not required previous experience in marketing, public relations, event planning, or community outreach is preferred (insurance or financial services experience a plus)
Compensation: $50,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
